A plain-language summary. The full policy below is what legally applies — this table is just here so you don't have to read all of it to get the gist. This is not the same as the official Apple privacy label, which is filled out separately in App Store Connect and shown on the app's store listing.

1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how DaoGrove Labs ("we," "us," "our"), the company behind the Oracle Union family of apps, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Oracle Profile mobile application (the "App"). It applies to the App specifically; our sibling apps (Tarot, and a Chinese Divination app) share the same account system but may collect additional app-specific data covered in their own policies.
2. What We Collect
- Account info: your email address (or your private Apple relay email if you sign in with Apple), used for authentication and account recovery.
- Quiz data: your quiz answers, dimension scores, and resulting archetype(s).
- Purchase data: which products you've purchased or subscribed to, managed via Apple and RevenueCat (our subscription infrastructure provider) — we don't see or store your payment card details.
- Compatibility data: if you use the compatibility feature, the archetype(s) of the other person involved, only for the purpose of showing you that comparison — we don't build a social graph or contact list from this.
- Basic technical data: device type, operating system version, and standard request logs (e.g. IP address at time of request), collected automatically as part of running any networked app, used only for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing issues.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the App.
3. How We Use It
- To save and sync your profile across Oracle Union apps.
- To unlock content you've purchased.
- To help resolve refund requests, we may share limited purchase/usage data with Apple when you request a refund (see Terms of Service, Section 6).
- To keep the App secure and working correctly.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to serve you third-party ads.
4. Where It's Stored
Account and profile data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Subscription and entitlement data is stored with RevenueCat. Both act as data processors on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality obligations — they don't use your data for their own purposes.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account and profile data promptly, except where we're required to retain limited records (e.g. transaction records) for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, in which case we retain only what's necessary and for no longer than required.
6. Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account > Delete Account inside the App — this is permanent and cannot be undone. If you can't access the App, see our Support page for a web-based deletion request path.
You can also request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask questions by contacting us at the address in Section 11.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11.
EEA/UK Residents (GDPR)
If you're located in the EEA or UK, our legal basis for processing your data is: performance of a contract (providing the App's features), and your consent (where required). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing — contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Sign In With Apple
If you sign in with Apple, we only receive the identifier and email address Apple chooses to share with us (which may be a private relay address). We don't receive your Apple ID password.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we'll delete it. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at the address in Section 11.
9. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, RevenueCat) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers of personal data outside your home jurisdiction.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including relying on infrastructure providers with their own security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
